The annual GFM Awards took place last night. Congratulations to the 236 nominees and really big well done to all GFM learners who were shortlisted for an award – the judges had a really challenging job due to the quality of the nominations. We are really proud of all our learners and hope that our winners from last night feel incredibly proud of themselves. We were delighted that the gold medalist Helena Lucas MBE was our guest speaker. She talked lots about the importance of resilience and positivity – this will set us in good stead for the rest of the academic year and remind us of the importance of being self-motivated in order that we can achieve our very best.
