A specialist SEN school for secondary aged boys with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs

With a Post- Pandemic return to in person examinations for the 2021-22 cohort of students, this presented some challenges for our most recent LWS leavers. Although these results represent a slight decline from the 2019 results, we are proud of our students achievements and successes- allowing them to access their first choice of Post-16 destination. For example;

Student A and B – Both students leaving with 10 GCSE or equivalent qualifications. Both students passing English Literature, Language and Maths GCSEs. The highest grade achieved by both students was a 6.

Student Destinations

At LWS, we support students in finding and securing the most appropriate post 16 destination, whether it be college, apprenticeships or traineeships. If needed, students can be supported throughout their entire application process, from familiarisation visits to interview.

Our destinations figures are often suppressed nationally due to small cohort size.
