This link provides our Key Stage 4 (KS4) results for 2016-2017 (DfE provisional), which are also published in the school performance tables on the Department for Education (DfE) website.  The link also shows the results of all other local authority schools in comparison and details the full statistics of LWS Academy. Revised KS4 results for 2017-18 will not be available until next term. This information is maintained by the DfE and will be updated again in January 2019 following their August to December checking process.
LWS examination successes are reported as the best possible outcomes achieved by students during the academic year 2017-18. ‘Outliers’ have been removed from the analysis at this stage but further information can be supplied on request. Government statistical progress data can be found via “School Compare” on the Department for Education website.

Student Destinations

At LWS, we support students in finding and securing the most appropriate post 16 destination, whether it be college, apprenticeships or traineeships. If needed, students can be supported throughout their entire application process, from familiarisation visits to interview.
There is an increasing trend of our Year 11 leavers securing education post 16. This academic year, 90% of our 2019 leavers are predicted to secure their preferred placement.
Our destinations figures are often suppressed nationally due to small cohort size.
